How does the elevator door safety system work?
We use a dual-layer protection system: 1) A light curtain that automatically reopens the door upon sensing obstacles, and 2) A door inverter that triggers reopening if it detects a physical resistance of 150N.
What prevents the elevator from falling?
All safety components are CE and EAC certified. If the speed exceeds 1.15 times the rated speed, the speed governor activates the safety gear, which brakes against the guide rails to stop the fall.
How is "hitting the top" prevented during upward travel?
When the upward speed exceeds 1.15 times the rated speed, the control cabinet sends an immediate signal to the traction machine to apply the brakes and halt upward movement.
